magicmummy is on a distinguished road
Default Increasing traffic

I have a relatively new blog but have very little experience in blogging....

I have heard that a good way to promote my blog might be to write some articles about the content of my site and link back to it.

Can someone help me with some more information about this?

Thanks

Hi,

there are lots of free ebooks about article marketing and the bigger article directories have help pages about how to do it - e.g. ezinearticles.com

basically you write articles about the same topics that your site covers and at the end of the article place 1 or 2 links back to your website

you want live links containing your target keywords - otherwise you're wasting your time - you want to boost your site in the search engine rankings - not just syphon off a few visitors from the article directory

I'm an ezinearticles.com expert author - check out the bio box on a few of my articles to see how its done:

I haven't bothered writing articles for ages as its very time consuming - but its still very effective for SEO and traffic getting - its worked for years!
