I've been experimenting with submitting some of my articles from Experiment Garden to a popular hacking, programming, and tech news site. I've had a few minor successes, with one post getting 300 hits in a day, and another getting over 600 hits in one day. I think the two major keys are the title of the article, and the time that you submit it to the directory. I'm slowly developing my title skills, finding out which title draw people in to click on the item and visit my blog. As for the time, I find that early morning seems to be a good time to submit. Just as people arrive at work they check their favorite internet sites, and end up visiting me through the news directory. What are your findings? When submitting to a news feed do you get better results submitting in the morning, around lunchtime, or in the evening (US time)?
