Can You Help Me in Achiving my Goal?

I have just read that John Chow made $1000+ from AdSense in first month. I am inspired by this and have set up a personal goal for June. I want to get at least $50 via AdSense.(And I am not asking you to click my ads!)

I do not have much experience with AdSense and would like some advice from experienced people. Right now, I make $5-10 per month(put ads 2 months ago). How can I achive this goal? Any advice, technique? I am willing to work hard and have adjusted schedule to get 3 hours every day for promotion. Content is not a problem, I have 20 drafts.

Basically, I am putting this out here for two reasons:

1. Making Resolutions Public Helps a Lot by acting as additional experience.
2. People around can help you with tips. That's what I am looking for!

Please share any advice you have. Thanks in Advance!

Back when I used AdSense I only "Image Only" ads. They pay a lot more try that it worked for me.

have you tried writing a press release? Make sure you have some sort of interesting story to tell and tie that in with your blog.

The first thing I'd do is sort out your blog theme - in 1024 pixels the sidebar does not start until after the last post on the page - pushing your adsense out of sight

I also don't like drop-down category menus - I like to have categories in plain sight - makes it easy for people to find more of what they came looking for in the first place - that will improve the chances of them seeing a tempting adsense ad
