Ah, I didn't realize you were joking

Auctionblot is actually an OK domain name - you've got your keyword right at the start of the URL name - and its kinda catchy

I'm sure you're still playing with the site design - but I'd get rid of the text on background image in the navigation columns as soon as possible - just makes for hard reading

Congrats. However, it is a low volume keyphrase.

I got to #5 in Google and #3 in Yahoo for "football forum" in about 3 months. This phrase has about 50x more search volume than yours.

Question is though, are you seeing much traffic? And is it converting?

I hit #1 on this one today, and it's with a post answering a comment question. Like I said, almost no promotion, just wordpress, all in one seo plug-in, and a few links from this forum and blog comments.

actually, if it had been 'blog-traffic-question.com' you'd probably have the top yahoo ranking by now - yahoo place great emphasis on "keyword in domain name" in their ranking algorithm - but you might not have had the google ranking

congrats to you! - page #1 on google in 3 months is good going nowadays - I used to do it in 17 days - but that was years ago when you didn't need to wait for a new domain to age

"make money today" was chosen because it was the best phrase with an available .net domain - plus the other factors already mentioned - commercial intent, likelyhood of top rankings, etc.

I have wassup plugin installed - and surprisingly most of the hits are for people trying to find out who "make money today" is

the adsense eCPM varies between 18 and 26 dollars - higher than my forex blog - so I'm confident this is going to be my best blog site

apart from anything else, there's lots of free content to post, and clickbank products to promote - and I'll be adding a clickbank script shortly, that will target make money products based on the post title - then the money should start flowing

I've been in the SEO/Web Development business for over 10 years - and I can just "feel" this is going to be a money site

I'm not so sure you won't get the top rankings - if you don't then its because you're on a blogger blog - but you can always start a self-hosted wordpress blog later if necessary

done a quick check using the google adwords keyword tool and come up with some categories you should add to your site:

teacup cats
teacup cat
teacup kittens
teacup persians
teacup dogs
teacup yorkies
teacup yorkie
teacup dog
teacup puppies
teacup poodles
teacup breeders
teacup maltese
teacup puppy
teacup dog breeds

2 or 3 relevant posts per category should start things off

when you see a hit from google for one of your posts, then write some more on the same topic - and post them to the same category - i.e. build on your success

if you can do it I'd change your page design theme so that the post content is over to the left and navigation/links columns are over to the right - see my blog: Make Money This makes the "content" more important than the "navigation/links" - important SEO stuff

I've been making sure to use the google Adwords tool in all of my writing. I usually have at least one if not all of the bigger keywords that they list. And I want to change the design, I just haven't found anything that I am happy with. I'm not even happy with the one that I have. Lol. I'm really picky and currently, the only thing I like is my banner that I made.
