I prefer site flipping than affiliate marketing. This is mainly due to the fact that I am unable to make money online thro' affiliate marketing. I earned $1500 last month thro' slight flipping. But with affiliate marketing I earned $100 (clickbank products)

Hi kittyluver, do you sell the sites as soon as you get them built - or wait for pagerank to show I assume we're talking about "fresh" domains - not expired domains with existing backlinks and visitors how many sites do you have to flip to get that $1500 - and how many hours work is that I'm tempted to go down the "niche site" building route using something like xsitepro that can bang out sites more quickly than I can do manually with Wordpress |

They're pretty much completely different ways of making money online. I think both can be done at the same time if you were dedicated to learning both. Of course, you can make money from affiliate marketing much faster than site flipping despite the fact that some people claim they can teach you how to make money from it in the first 24 hrs. My choice is affiliate marketing just because it is so dynamic and easy to do when you know how. |

Re. Hexum: "I think both can be done at the same time if you were dedicated to learning both." Building a Wordpress blog site using my own domain name and an add-on domain hosting account, and then selling it quickly as a finished product is appealing to me - example site: http://www.car-insurance-blog.net/ My concern is, will the buyer expect me to move the site to his hosting - or is that down to them Static html sites are easy to move but I don't want to get involved in moving a Wordpress database Does anybody here have experience of flipping Wordpress sites - and do the buyers want the site moved |

hey i'd share my 2 cents here... Since flippers normally create sites then throw it at marketplace, I wonder what if they sell a site that doesn't sell. I mean how are they gonna do w/it? since in what i observed, flippers mostly are no affiliate marketers. ?

Short term site flipping is going to make the most money as it is immediate cash. Long term affiliate marketing is going to be more profitable as it becomes steady income that keeps coming in without any further work on your part.

that depends on the traffic source - if you're syphoning off visitors from article directories, forums, social networking sites, etc. then yes if you are relying on search engine traffic - especially google, then adding fresh content to your blog each day will be necessary my blogs largely rely on RSS feeds for fresh content but the last few I've built are getting hardly any google traffic just built my latest blog site 2 days ago and as an experiment: Weight Loss I'm not using RSS news feeds for content - just going to use "spun" original articles to see if that brings google traffic more quickly I'll do the same promotion as I do for my other blogs and let you know if it works better on Google - my other blogs get lots of listings on google but not visitors - i.e. "indexed" but not "ranked" I regard RSS as "work free" but manually adding articles as "work" |

I suppose if its priced low enough it will fetch something - and therefore not a complete waste of time being realistic also plays a part - build it quick and sell it cheap should be their motto from what I've read on domain dealing forums, URL parking is now dead as far as PPC income is concerned - so its either sell it quick and make a few bucks or "build it" and ask a higher price |

Well that didn't last long - I've caved in and added a RSS feed - but only to 1 category - Weight Loss News My excuse is that my twitter feed was not echoing my manual wordpress posts to twitter - tried a different plugin and that didn't work either Gone back to my original plugin and waiting to see if it echoes the auto posts to twitter - hope so as I normally get 1 twitter visitor per auto post |
