Default Re: Reducing Blog Bounce Rate

I have been advised not to put full posts on my home page and stick with several excerpts instead.

Is this a good Idea?

In theory I guess if they want to read the whole article they have to click through to another page.

But it seems kind of false because they may still only be interested in that one post but are forced to click through to read it.

What do you guys think?

It's something that I'm quite keen on personally - if the post is relevant/interesting enough then people will always click through.

One of the main benefits you get is that the user doesn't have to scroll too much to see all your posts, also if you have google analytics in place you can pick up on the click through and it will help you identify which of your posts are more popular.
