eBook Suggestions

I'm going to be launching a new design for my website in a week or two. I'm also going to be launching a biweekly email newsletter with it.

I'm considering offering an ebook to encourage people to subscribe to the newsletter.

Given the nature of my site, what sort of ebook would most entice you (or someone else) to subscribe to the newsletter?

One thing I've been thinking about is a photography ebook. It is different (or at least I haven't seen one) and pretty easy to create.

Any suggestions?

I took a look at your site and see its a travel site? You could do many variations on this from discount travel tips, accommodation advice for different parts of the world; also there is last minute travel and eco travel. I usually try to put together a 7-10 autoresponder series that the subscriber will get once a day. This lets them know about who I am and builds some trust as well as gets then used to getting your emails. All this is if you plan to market to your list. If not... then skip that last part.

While I suppose you can lump my site into the "travel" category, I really don't have anything to do with travel tips, hotels, airlines or the travel industry.

Oh sorry. I only took a quick look. Well the principles will work for any niche blog. I have well over a hundred and use this many times to build my list.

Ya, I guess a eBook on photography is good, or you can list the 10 things you need to do before travelling, or a packing list for travel. I have one on camping, you can get it for free.

When I say "photography" I don't mean tips on photography, but actual photographs. Like an e-Coffee Table Book.

While that's an interesting premise, I think most people would pass on a picture ebook when pictures are so readily available on the Internet. What's going to be in your newsletter?
