Review a Blog and Get Multiple Reviews Back

Hi Everybody

I recently launched a new website which is all about building readership of your blog. It is called Fair Review

The main hub of the site is a directory which contains listings for everybody who has reviewed a blog previously. To get into the directory, simply review a blog already there, linking to the blog you're reviewing, a post on the blog you are reviewing, and any page on the Fair Review site, submit your request to join, and then you will be included!

Anyway, that's the premise. Hopefully it will be successful, and bring you some success should you participate. Let me know what you think, anyway!

Please do! We're now a couple of submissions short of the first batch of links, and it's been 5 hours, so if you want to get in "on the ground floor" as it were, it could be worthwhile to do so now!

JUST visited your site. I personally think it's a novel idea. I"d be willing to review one of the sites and post them on our blog review; just let me know which one .

Also I noticed you are using PHPLD for your directory. That is what I use the main directory here.

I have a question though: Where did you get your site of the day mod? I've seen one before someone was selling I"m sure there are others out there I'd like to give it a try I think it's a great featured. I would put the site of the day on your main opening page as well.

It's entirely upto you which site you review! This is the thing. I encourage you to browse all the sites, find one that takes your fancy and review it.

Thanks! I will look into reviewing one this weekend hopefully. Also I know Kiviniar the owner of that website from another forum. I"m going to go pick his brain. I think the listing of the day is an awesome mod for additional exposure for your members but also once the site gets going if people buy days of the week it can be a great value added income stream.

Best of luck with your project keep us updated. I love hearing about new twists on older ideas.

Oooh, let me know how you do with it. I'd love to have a site of the day on the front page (it's because the front page is outside of the directory, which is why the script may not work, I dunno actually, just thinking about it, maybe it could work, especially if it's a PHP script).

Plans for monetization at the moment are small, I was thinking about doing the whole text link ads thing when pageranked, and maybe expand the blog to do sponsored reviews. I'd like to keep the directory side of things free

If the idea becomes popular you may be able to see advertising directly and I'd try that first if not then go with a service. Services just charge alot more. I find it easier to ask someone 50- 75% of what the service would. Thing is unless you get lots of traffic with people emailing you with enquiries ... a service may be worth it!

I agree. I try doing a bit of both through my blog, and text link ads is the most successful. 100% of nothing is still nothing!
