Thought I might as well get this category going. Bloggeries.com blog directory is always looking for quality blogs to partner up with. Currently we do not offer free reciprocal to the general public however I am willing to make special exceptions for quality blogs that are owned by members of this forum.
Basically I am always looking for fun and interesting well written blogs for my directory. The more solid blogs I have in there the better the experience is for those who browse through the directory. That is why I do not offer free reciprocal; I found I was getting much to many submissions from brand new blogs that looked like they were PURELY made for Adsense. No real content just ads. This provides no value to the users of my directory. If you have a well written and maintained blog that is atleast PR3 and you would like a free listing in my directory please post your blog along with some details in this thread and I will contact you about an exchange. This is a great way for me to continue building a quality directory and for you to get a free listing in a paid directory.($30 value!) All I ask is you make a few posts elsewhere in the directory before posting here. A great place to start is the introductions section! If you do not qualify for an exchange (PR3+) please read this post. (Another way to get listed for free if you don't meet this threads minium requirements.)Looking forward to hearing about your blogs, Rob |

I have a question that may make me look like a fool, but I shall ask it anyway: what does PR3 mean?

![]() Basically PR stands for Page Rank; Page Rank is Google's way of assigning relevancy. If 5 websites have the exact same keyword density google will display the one with the highest page rank aka relevancy. You gain page rank by having links from other high page rank sites because in theory they will only link to you if you can offer something. Page Rank 3 is the equivalence of a 30% relevancy. Page rank is updated every ~3 months on average. Bloggeries is currently page rank 6. I'm hoping for a page rank 7. They get progressively harder to attain as you climb. Another indicator is at www.seomoz.org click on the "Page Strength" this is another algorithm to determine how strong your page is. Bloggeries is currently a page strength 6 which is also quite good. There are not many PR7 or PS 7 sites out there, even less 8, 9 and obviously 10. They installed these means of measuring relevancy because if it only went on keyword density spammers could figure out the % and your search results would just be a spam sandwich from the tin with the gellatin intact. Something no one finds appetizing. Thanks for asking as I'm sure alot of other people reading this thread had similar thoughts! Was that answer to your standards my lord? ![]() Take care, Rob |

Your response is most sufficent, thank you.
Currently, however, I have a PR of zero, as my journals are still new, so I'm out. But thank you for the information!

I am already in the directory and I (of course) already have a link to your site on my blog... and my blog is now PR3 but due to some recent "restructuring" the blog listed in the bloggeries directory is not the "right one".
Is it possible to get that changed? OLD URL: http://shopautodotcaseo.tripod.com/blog/ NEW "RIGHT" URL: http://shopautodotcaseo.tripod.com/b...oggerblog.html P.S. But I already had a link to your site even before I read this because I get 60% of my traffic from your site. Amazing huh! I know my site is "keyword rich" but give me a month and a half for this contest to be over and I will never ever use the words shop#$@!%#@ca seo!@#%*!# again!!! Thanks if that's possible! If not, that's okay too. |

You might want to check out my site Dollars Blog its a PR 3 but I optimized it and updated some links to point to my blog instead of the front of the domain right after the latest google update was done on may 1st so the next update should definitely show a PR 4 for my blog page.
I would like to exchange links with you. Please PM me and Ill give you a blogroll link (without a nofollow) |
