Very nice site Jessi. I checked everything out and discovered that it was a problem with how the Javascript code was run on different browsers. Before the script did not work with Interent Explorer, because Internet Explorer does not stick to certain coding standards that I have become accustomed to with Mozilla Firefox.
![]() I have now incorporated a work around for Internet Explorer and the script works on all the browsers that I have tested it on. Please let me know if you have any more difficulties. |

I'm a die-hard Firefox user, so don't think that was my issue, but I'll try again.

Nope, it still doesn't pull a link and instead says "undefined." I don't see why it doesn't want to grab an archive link. :S
~Edit~ I just keep fiddling with it and nothing I seem to do will help it access the links. I had someone else look it over the other day, too, before I asked here, and he didn't see anything wrong with the code, but couldn't get it to work on his either. Wierd....and sad.

Darn, let me try again. I'll get this figured out as soon as possible.

Ah Ha! I looked at the code on your blog and your blog archive is not configured to show post titles. The reason why my script doesn't find any posts to output is that your blog archive widget only shows the month names not the post titles during that month.
You'll have to select the check box in its options dialog, the one that says "Show Post Titles." Let me know if that gets it.

Ooo! Ooo!! That worked. Oh my god, you have no idea how thankful I am to have this now. I seriously have been searching for months and everyone just keeps pointing me to the "Feeling Lucky" randomizer thing you can add and I don't like that thing at all. This is perfect, though, and I'm really glad that you were able to pinpoint that as being my issue. When I glanced through my archive box originally to make sure that it was listed as monthly and as a hierarchy, I didn't even notice the post title option or I would've tried that to begin with. Good eye and thank you for all the time you spent trying to find the solution!!

I'm back with one more question. I know, I'm asking too much, but you're the only hope I have here, haha.
I clicked through several times and noticed that it only pulls from 2008. Is there something I can tweak to get it to pull from every year in my archive? |

I'm glad that the script is working for you now. I looked through the code and it looks like Blogger limits the number of post titles that it can put on the page for bandwidth reasons. If it showed every title you had ever written it would make the page load really slowly. One thing you could try, though, is changing the settings on the blog archive again.
This time make the oldest posts show up first in your blog archive. Theoretically, this will make Blogger show the older post titles and that will mean that my script will show older post titles as well. Unfortunately I can't think of any other way to get around this limitation, and I don't know if this technique that I just suggested will even work. If you appreciate my script please link back to my blog: Inkweaver Review - Book Reviews & Cover Art so that other people can find the script as well.

Oh don't you worry. I'll be linking back to you. I was just trying to get it to work....and then see if I could pull older titles....before I made note of the add-on on my blog itself.
