Default Has any one used ScribeFire?

I Stumbled Upon ScribeFire (an add-on for FireFox browsers) that is supposed to help with blogging. It looks great. Apparently you can surf the net and when you find something you want to quote, etc, you can drag and drop what you want and then post it to your blog.

My question is: Has anyone here tried this add-on? (I did a search, but got no results.) Is it as good as is claimed? Does it hog resources? Any comments?

Yep, I've tried it. It's really neat if that's your kind of thing. I have a tendency to just open things in tabs, though, and leave those tabs open or save them until I'm ready to blog them. Maybe if I went back to Scribe, I wouldn't have such a backlog of stuff to post! Ha!

Opening several tabs has been my technique as well, but I went ahead and downloaded ScribeFire and tried it once (so far). It is so convenient. I think I am going to like it.

I will test it some more and get back here with the results.

Quick question, since you already have it downloaded again. I remember that it posts to my blog, but is there a section where I can change the post date directly from ScribeFire? So, for example, if I want it to post in the future instead of immediately? I don't remember...

I am not sure, I am still learning. Give me a few days and I will get back to you. I had a migraine aura today and so did not get much done on the computer. I should have the time tomorrow.

By the way, I enjoyed the post "7 Quirky Things About Me" I read on your blog earlier. Entertaining.

Default Scribefire is good

Yes I use scribefire to post. You can post directly from fIrefox addon, there is no need to go the blogging site and post. Its very simple to use. I've also monetized one of my sites with scribefire ppc ads.

Oh, and I downloaded it again anyway, by the way, and a test post showed that you can indeed post-date directly from the addon.
