Your readers will actively have to check the little checkbox for it to happen, so I don't think it'll be a big issue for you. They just comment like they used to anonymously, all that's required is the comment itself and a Name.

It's my regular users that I'm most concerned about now. If they're familiar with Wordpress CommentLuv, then they know that clicking the box will claim their posts. There's nothing there that says they're signing up for something, though, until they put in their info, select the box that retrieves their post, and then "oh, by the way, we just created an account for you at some place you've never heard of." It's not a huge deal for everyone, but I know that some of my visitors would not be thrilled to find out that after putting in their info it went to some other place and that they didn't know checking the box was their agreement to randomly sign up somewhere.
