What are your favourite blog addons and extras?

Just curious, which blog addons and extra's are you using that you find to be best or most effective or just the coolest?

I still have way too many Wordpress plugins running, but seem to keep adding more.

The latest ones I like very well are RSS Signature and one to add related posts to your feed.

They're part of my efforts to ensure that if any of my full feed posts get swiped by the automatic harvesters that stop by now and then, at least I'll get some backlinks out of the deal and readers will know where to go for more posts.

Beyond that, Akismet is invaluable, especially now that I've enabled DoFollow and the automatic commenting programs have started to find my blog.

My favorite has to be the NeoEarth it displays your online and past visitors on a choice of 12 zoomable maps, each available in 4 different sizes. Really cool and easy to implement you can see a demo of it on my blog Here

I'm going to look into that. I"ve seen something similar on other blogs and found it to be quite interesting. Thanks alot for the suggestion.

I just added the Technorati fav button on my toolbar...it's a lot easier keeping track of your favorites this way. I blogged about it today on my blog, Blog-Blond at Blog -Blond

As soon as i install WP on any site I install Advanced admin menus its brilliant! It makes all the sub links in WP a drop down menu so you don't have to click twice to get onto the theme editor page - a life saver if your connections as rubbish as mine!

I also love the full text feed plugin, Full Text Feed · cavemonkey50.com I can't stand cut off RSS feeds.

The sideblog WP plugin is great if you have little things to say but don't want a whole new blog post! Sideblog

Spotmilk makes the admin interface pretty - CeprixConception | SpotMilk, Admin Theme for WordPress

I also have a soft spot for WP-grins!

Nice list of blog addons to to add to a fresh blog. Looks like you have done this before. On your blog I like your flavicon it really stands out. I'd recommend you show it off in "Show off Your Blog"

I have Feed With Comments installed, which displays the comments in the RSS feed along with the post, so that my readers can follow the discussion easily..
