Default Offline blogging

I wondered if anyone had any suggestions for offline blogging apps?

I'm particularly looking for one for my photoblog (which I've decided to continue woo!) but it needs to have timestamp editing options and kind of vital be for mac!

Does anyone else blog offline?

BBCode dear

I use w.blogger (or I did), not sure if it does timestamping.

Not sure also if it's Mac compatible. Get a PC!

meh - I'm so used to having the choice between bbcode and html!

ugh I'm not using my smelly PC - it makes my room so hot, I only use it as a glorified ext hdd! Nor am I launching parallels just to blog!

You might try Qumana. I blogged a review about it recently, though it was from a PC-user's perspective. However, Qumana can be used on a Mac as well.

I use Windows Live Writer, but it isn't available on a Mac as far as I know. It's timestamping is also a little wonky sometimes.

*will never use windoze live writer unless forced too by a gun toting madman!*

I'm using qmana - it worked fantastically - posts on here and here worked brilliantly!

I've yet to test the upload options.

I tried downloading Qumana, but keep getting an error when I run it, "Java found, but javaw.exe seems to be missing". Paths are setup to point to my JDK bin directory, so I'm not sure what's going on.

Too bad, it looked very nice!

Oh, yes. All my machines are setup for Java development as soon as I unpack them, paths are setup, current versions downloaded now and again, etc.

I am running Vista at home, I'll try on my XP machine at work. It wouldn't be the first application that had trouble in Vista.
