Default Re: Google Images indexing?

I have close to 4,000 images and have been working on this since May. This is what I found:

- Enhanced Image search has nothing to do with indexing per se. All it does is submit your images to their enhanced image tagging where people tag images. That's it. It doesn't to jack for the robot which indexes your site.

- How you store the images matters. A lot. The naming scheme, directory, duplicate images all matter in determining if it gets indexed.

- Getting one image in a popular article indexed is a whole different thing than trying to get a whole site of images indexed.

Google Image is much more a black art and dumb luck than regular text indexing.
