I don't blog for money. I blog because I love the topic I write about. Also, I don't get enough visitors to ask for money. I don't even have ads on my biggest forum,
Talk Budgies. And if there were any website I would put ads on to make money, it would be that one. I blog (and make forums) just for enjoyment.
Not to mention I'd like to share my knowledge and tips for new cruisers on my blog. I feel everyone has the right to enjoy their vacations. So I like to help out those who are new to cruising so there are no (bad) surprises.
So do I judge the success of my blog by the amount of money I make? Of course not because I lose money on it. But as long as I help one person out with it, I feel it is a success.
