Hmm .. wordpress isn't really all that hard
One thing you can do if you have the time is, just set up an account at wordpress.com and have a play with it. The user interface is the same as the stand-alone wordpress software.
Then if you need help to set it up, just drop a line on the forum. I sure there are people (me included) who would be happy to give you a hand
