Bloggeries has added a
Podcast Directory to it's main site. Podcasting is becoming increasingly prevalent. I attended an Internet Marketing Bootcamp seminar hosted by
Internet Marketing Strategies, Grow or Start an Online Business: Internet Marketing Center in February of last year. One thing they could not stress enough was the importance of podcasting and how it was the next massive opportunity on the internet. Possibly the largest one since blogging. Search on technorati or any other blog search engine or directory and the number of blogs on any particular topic compared to podcasting is staggering to say the least!
Regardless of your niche if you chose to be one of the pioneers in podcasting you will be able to get exposure only dreamt of in more traditional and established mediums. Golf was a great example of a saturated market in blogging and websites, however in podcasting when I checked last year the numbers where substantially lower.
I think podcasting is something everyone with a blog or website should look into. Even if you have neither maybe start your own podcasts if you like talking and don't mind "going on the record".
