Is there a super-dummies book I can read?? LOL

I am new to blogging, I have a teeny personal blog that I would really like to expand, and gain a readership. I just don't know what to do!! I totally do NOT understand the whole keyword thing, I went to the keyword service at Google, and nothing happened when I entered in words...

I am also going to be starting a new blog on my website, and I would love some tips on how to really do it up right, maybe earn a few dollars from it. That one will be a WordPress blog, hosted on my website.

Does anyone have some REAL beginner tips for me??
