Akismet filters trackbacks as well as comments. I haven't had a spam problem with them.

That only works if you are militant about deleting spam trackbacks, otherwise your site ends up linking to splogs, MFA sites, etc. The same thing's necessary with doFollow comments, of course, so I assume you're being watchful, but I wanted to mention it for the benefit of anyone new to the doFollow world.
