Hey, definitely no hard feelings man. If you think about it, you got a true forum member from my site and I didn't even do anything lol... and they signed up because they wanted to, not because I asked them to...
But you should just have a contest and randomly pick a person who writes a post on Bloggeries forum. That way you'll get tons of bloggers exposuring your blog to their audience and you'll only need to give away one prize.
It's hard to say on forums, that's not really my expertise... but you should join in on my
"Get Traffic" contest that way your site/forum gets reviewed by high traffic blogs.
