I hear what you are saying. I've been doing video podcasts for my home business blog in sig however my camera keeps locking saying "busy" after ~1 minute. I need to bring it in as this i ridiculous. I think it would be cool though to listen to people talk but actually have something interesting in the background instead of interview style. I was filming mine on the drive to work.
