I'm sorry, the best thing I can say is to do some keyword research and make sure you include the best keyword combinations in your blog titles and any anchor text from backlinks pointing back to your blog. Have you looked at where your competitors backlinks are coming from? Apparently those places are working for them so I would try to follow suite. make sure any links are coming from a page with some pagerank and it contains relative topics. Try a free press release, you write nice articles just make a new one in the correct press release format introducing your new blog and blast it out to a few of the free PR sites.
