A lil pointer for theme designers...
Seriously. There are too many themes going around that have summer, breeze, forest, oceans or other random crap like that.
People want to make money off their blogs.
A theme may look good, but
very few people are going to use it if it cannot be monetized well. And I don't mean Adsense, but actual ads that are commonly used.
Newbies don't want to mess with the code too much, so to any theme designers out there - make a killer Web 2.0ish Wordpress theme, with 125 x 125 and a 468 x 60 ad that is easily customized and I'll guarantee you'll make more than a few hundred downloads in the first month.
At the moment there are around ten MMO themes, and they're getting overused. All it takes is one killer one and you can dominate the market with links - or go the premium themes route and make a killing there too.
Just a lil rant, sorry to all Bloggeries members that care jack all about WP Themes...
