Post makes sense, agreed about the unique point. People read blogs for the author, and if he's writing stuff but not letting his opinion show in his posts, his posts are useless.
Btw - the second 'useless' post you linked to had 50 or so comments when I checked it. Looks like
some people do like that kind of stuff
