Hi Phil,
I like the overall look, however there are a few things I would like to comment on:
I would take out the code you are showing in your banner if I were you, to have the text stand out more and have your ads blend in more with the rest of your theme. I would also hold a bit before showing off the number of reader untill you have reached a higher number.
You still have permalinks set on default, I believe you should switch that so the titles actually show up in your links both for SEO and making it a lot easier for people to remember posts they have already visited.
