I'm not sure I like the banner picture. It looks a bit squashed.
Also, not sure if I'm a fan of it being left of centre, it looks a bit awkward there (but I'm certainly no expert)
When I'm rapidly dropping entrecards and stopping by a site every so often to read and perhaps comment, this one does not please the eye and I'd likely move on.
