No problem.. We've only been doing it for 2-3 weeks now, so we're still working out the kinks. But we've got a weekly show that's 20-25 minutes in length, where we cover a wide variety of topics. We make a post on the blog that tells the readers what the Podcast covers, so they can make the decision if they want to listen or not. It's not a transcript though, maybe just 2-3 sentences explaining what they're about to listen to. (see
The Gab Report - 06/06/2007 » NFL GridIron Gab for an example of how our weekly show works)
We also do a number of 2-5 minute blurbs throughout the week on any hot topics, exclusive interviews, etc. We make all of the Podcast material unique, and since people can stream the casts right from the blog, we feel that there won't be a technology barrier that traditional Podcasts carry.
It is an exciting technology, though I'm concerned about how much bandwidth it'll eat up. Only time will tell if that will become a problem or not. (Our weekly show is around 25MB)
