I consider myself an ethical guy and in my opinion if a forum anywhere has anything about blogging then you can mention us.
Trick is to mention a PAGE on this forum in a link and once here if the reader likes what they see they may signup. So instead of announcing a forum when you see a question that has been answered here or anything here that you can link to that would help the person ... That is the way to go.
Now... It took A LONG TIME to get to that point. In march this forum had ~ 1600 page views and 600 uniques.
In December 2007 it had 65,000 page views and ~9500 uniques.
It's been growing but for several months it was just me and a few hardcores which I can't thank enough talking back and forth.
