I've figured out the problem. It is your Wp installation. You are using an old version of WP (WP 2.0.4). Please update your WP to the latest version (WP 2.3.) It is more secure, with more user friendly features.
Most of the new themes will not work with WP version before 2.2 .So please update and start using all the latest themes of your choice.
