MyClickBankAds is a pretty good way to to put content specific ads on a site.
I use it on a couple of my sites
My Futures Blog is one of them. About 1/2 down the right hand column you will see an ad block, much like Google Adsense uses.

A NOTE: I don't use Google's Adsence because, for what ever reason, they do not like my sites. I don't know what the problem is but Oh-Well.
