I'm in a position that becoming a "Blog-Pro" is not an option but a necessity. I, and probably thousands of others, have a major disability of one kind or other. Income as we knew it went out the window.

I suppose we could sit back on our collective behinds and say "oh poor is me" and bang our heads against a wall. But I don't see it.

I discovered blogs about a year ago. I see all kinds of ads yelling about how to "Monetize Your Blog." That to me is a good idea. Here comes another "However".

However, to make a blog pay you must have visitors. To get visitors you must be seen near the top of the search engines. That's the real tricky part.

I stumbled on one way that worked pretty good. If you do a google search with the term my futures blog you will see my site in the top 2 spots of around 254,00 sites. That's not bad. My site has only been up for around 3 months.

I got that by making videos and putting them on YouTube and about a dozen other video hosting sites.

I don't know if it's the right way to do it, but it sure is one way.

A note: My blog is starting to pay. All I need to do now is make a few hundred more paying sites.
