I know what you are saying but if you love the topic is not really work. Also it depends what area you are writing on. If you are writing about celebrity gossip then yes you need to post dozens of times a day.

if you're writing about to say free diving you could possibly have one of the most respected blogs on the Internet and post once every two or three days. Basically depends on how fierce the competition is for the topic you choose to write about.

also as I said earlier if you don't really love the topic it does become work and let's face it part of the reason we all hate work is because the "have to".
