Submit Edge is exactly what it means to be in a Search Engine Optimization Blog, and offers you a wide range of tips, tricks, and services for your SEO efforts. There is very little about SEO that you won’t find on this blog. You can see this for yourself in any of their recent bloggeries: Twenty Ways to Obtain Valuable One-Way Links, What Google Doesn’t Know about Spam, How Do I Get Links for my Website, The Future of SEO as a ROI Tool, and Why Deeplinking and Fresh Content are Important.
The website operates as a business, and not just as a blog, and thus offers a wide range of navigation systems. There is a top navigation system dedicated to the company where you will find links to Home, Testimonials, Support, Company, SEO Resources, Affilliate, and Reseller. In the left navigation system you will find a long menu of SEO services offered including Content Writing, SEO, Web Designing, and more. In the right navigation bar you will find a Categories and an Archives Menu. Categories for this blog are comprehensive given its niche, and these include a wide variety of topics including Google Universal, Google Webmaster Tools, Keyword, Link Building, RSS & SEO, SEO, Spam and SEO, XHTML, and SEO Content. The Footer then offers you an additional navigation system with links to Home, SEO Tools, Site Map, Testimonial, Contact Us, Bulk Discount, Partner, and SEO Tips Blog. The overall design of the blog is appealing with bloggeries in black text on white background and a bright blue border and theme. Most of the bloggeries are textually based, with very few pictures associated.
I give this blog a 4 /5 for now, for me it was missing a few vital pieces of blog meat. The appearance and navigation scores for this blog are very good with its organized template and clean design. The content of the blog is well written and for the most part in a user-friendly voice that the average Internet reader can understand. Activity is doing very well with bloggeries coming in daily. Some key blog features that would benefit this blog would be menus such as a recent posts menu, and a recent comments menu. These menus both offer some connectivity to the readership, and as well provide additional ease with navigation. I also don’t see an about page. While it is fairly obvious what the blog is about, to offer SEO services, blog readers do enjoy reading about pages and this is yet another tool blogs use to connect with their readership. It provides a more personal connection between the writer and the reader. Also, this blog is reading more like a business website with services to sell rather than as an informational blog with an interest in sustaining readership, so I do think that the addition of some features to connect with the readers will improve the ‘blogability’ of this blog. Otherwise, for all intents and purposes it looks and reads like an excellent blog and should experience much success.

If you are a blogger, and I mean really, if you are reading this chances are good, then you definitely want to visit Blisslogs. Blisslogs is a little place where you can pick up some blogging tips and learn from the author’s blogging experiences. It did not take me long to really like this blog, or in fact bookmark it. That being said, bloggers need to take note of this site if they want to improve, promote, or start their own blog. The author is all about helping to help you, and is even willing to provide you your own domain through blisslogs as well as some free blogging software. Further, he will not just help you build a blog, but help you work on monetizing that blog for a little extra side income. Have a look at any of his recent posts to see what I am talking about. Here you will find Goo Goo for Google Monday – Google Talk, BlissLogs is a Winner, Improve your Google PageRank in 4 Easy Steps, WordPress Wednesday – Timestamp your Posts, The Face Behind BlissLogs, Market and Analyze your Site for only $5, John Cow Contest, Blog Contests, Create your Blog Posts with a Free Editor, and many more.
One of the first things I noticed that I love about this blog is that within each post you will find a popularity ranking (of the post), a date and author stamp, tags, Digg and Email links, and then a section on Related Posts. I think the popularity rating is a great tool for both the reader and the author in terms of knowing what to write about. It also helps the reader determine the success of a particular post. I also like the Related Posts links. I find this really increases the readability of the blog, so that users spend less time on a blog searching for what they want to read about. I do not see this often on blogs, so needless to say, I was impressed.
Navigation on this site is so easy, it will not take you long to find what you are looking for. Posts are left marginalized with black text on white background. There is a top, right, and bottom navigation bar. In the top bar you can hit the Home link, read the About Me page, and Contact the author. In the right navigation bar you will find a Most Popular Posts Menu, Categories Menu, Recent Posts Menu, Archives, and the Blogroll. In the bottom navigation system you will find very similar menus, recent posts, archives, and etc. I am not seeing any advertising on the blog, so I am not too sure if this one is being monetized, or is one that is ‘all about the love’ of blogging.
I am going with a 5 for this one, which comes rare but deserved. The fact that I spent more time wandering and reading and bookmarking and taking notes (for my own blog) than reviewing was a pretty powerful indication to me that this blog is worth a subscription and bookmark for any blogger. The blog is chock full of information. The content is spectacularly written and extremely user friendly. And the blogger is really all about helping you succeed, you can’t ask for much better. On all accounts of activity, uniqueness, content, navigation, and appearance, it scores beautifully. The only suggestion I would make is the addition of some pictures here and there. I say this because I know what Internet readers are like, and visual is important and ties in well with good content. But as I have already mentioned, the content is fantastic, and the blog is extremely readable and very user friendly. You really need to check it out for yourself.

If you are looking for some tools for your Internet Marketing Campaign, stop into the V7 Search Marketing News. What are you going to find here, you ask? Well, when it comes to Internet Marketing, or doing any kind of web work or Internet Business, the list is pretty comprehensive and it would take me less time to tell you what you WON’T find here. You won’t find the kitchen sink, and you won’t find anything that is NOT related to Internet Business. Clears it right up for you, doesn’t it? The V7 is an outstanding collection of Internet Business related materials. I keep wanting to use the term Internet Marketing, which you will find here, but it doesn’t stop there. There is material here for the web host, web master, graphic designer, advertiser, newbie, novice, and even the guru can pick up a few resources from this site. What amazes me is the time and trouble the owners and authors have taken to make this site so comprehensive on so many levels. The owners believe “that the Internet is more than a medium…more than a marketplace… is a community… of real people sharing real experiences in real time”. You can see evidence of this in their most recent posts, which are all examples of real life experiences, reviews, and what has or has not worked for them: Facebook Platform: A Brilliant Move; Thank you, Aaron (in reference to Aaron Wall’s SEO Book); Twitter Sucks, AdSense Monitoring, Want to See Which Sources Are Ranked Highest in Google News?, Googles Vulnerabiity: AdSense; How to Get Traffic From Directories, Google Trends Showing Daily….Trends; Google Killing AdSense Accounts, and Quality Referrals just to name a few. Again, from font to Facebook and everything in between, there is a resource for everyone that is trying to make money on the Internet, on this site.
Navigation on this site is extremely straightforward. The top navigation bar contains a list of links each of which could be its own site in itself: script directories, SEO blog, about page, graphics page, market place (a classified ads listing of sorts), and book reviews ( a very comprehensive listing of several marketing books out there. To the left you will find a forums menu where you can meet any of the posters on marketing, google, SEO, web design, coding, hosting, any number of forums really. There should be something there that will interest you. You will also find the book review menu that lists each of the books they have reviewed individually, a valuable tool if you are thinking of picking up some literature to expand your knowledge base (which is never a bad idea). There is an extensive Blogroll, Editorials menu, directory menu, hosting menu, and my personal favorite The Technology Blog. This was the most interesting to me only because I don’t quite involve myself in I – Business, thus proving this site proving an interest level to anyone. Here you can read about the $20 K MP3 player, and the $1 million dollar jewel encrusted PC which does not come near topping the 1.3 million dollar cell phone. Intrigued? Thought you would be.
I am going to give this one a 5, far be it from me to instruct leaders in the field on how to do their jobs. The postings here are relevant and frequent, and (something I don’t find often) short and to the point. “Twitter Sucks“, seriously, no more needed to be said. The appearance is appealing, standard, but there is nothing that distracts from the content of the site. Navigation is so easy you would have to be blind not to figure out how to go from one place to the next, and the content is spectacular. Comprehensive, well-written, and these guys show not just through their words but by example that they want you to do well. If you are in business online, this is a keeper, bookmark it today! For today’s blog review we have another Internet Marketing blog, “Self Made Minds - Earning by Learning“. If you own a blog or run a website, this one is worth checking out. It IS another Internet Marketing blog, but it is not JUST another money making site. I promise you that you will get something valuable from this website even if you can’t drop in for more than a few minutes. Self Made Minds is the baby of two Internet entrepreneurs Al and Scott. Their goal of this “earning by learning” blog is to share with you, the Internet Marketer, what has and has not worked for them along the way. Both of them are true entrepreneurs with neither of them paying credence to the 9-5 rat race, and this blog as well as their other websites is what puts their “bread and beer on the table”. Even if you aren’t trying to make money on the Internet, take some time to go through some of their recent posts: “Well it works on my machine”, “How to value a site”, “Stumble on, and on, and on”, “Organic links and how to get them”, “Finding Traffic Domains”, and so many more. If you do so, you will understand why one of their sites is valued at 2.308 million dollars, a self-described “bloody massive slight over estimate” in their opinion. But if you view some of their work, you will see why they are so highly regarded. The goal of this site is to show by example, and they do just that, proving how self made their minds really are.

Navigation on this site is straightforward. If you are looking for something specific, you will either find it very quickly, or it won’t be listed on the site. If that happens to be the case, be sure to drop them a note about it. They value their readers input and take it seriously, as you will see from their opening page and how they have been responding to readers comments. However if you are into Marketing online, you should not have a problem finding an answer to any of your questions in the Adsense, Blogging, Building Traffic, Business News, Domains, History of a $100 K Site (theirs, by the way), Miscellaneous, Money Making Tips, Online Business Ideas, and Site News Categories. Their understanding of the importance of content is palpable simply from their own writing, and the credence they give to their current guest author Jason Rickard. The posts here are well-written, such that you get the immediate impression that these opinions are professionally derived, but they are not pure business speak. The content is extremely user friendly, enjoyable to read, and appropriately humorous when called for. Further, it is clear that they have a solid and loyal readership judging from the amount of comments each of their posts contains. That alone gives a substantial credibility to this website.
I am going to go with a 4.8 here. The content is very unique, this site definitely sets itself apart from other Internet Marketing blogs. Navigation and appearance marks also score very well. Activity is so excellent, that no improvements are needed there. For two very busy guys, they are extremely dedicated to ensuring the success of this website. The only suggestion I would make is to shorten the blog posts just a smidge. I understand the reason their posts are the length that they are, as it is difficult to provide quality, unique content in just a paragraph or two, however I found them very long and was not able to get through the entirety of a few posts. Not that I didn’t find them interesting, just my attention was not maintained and found myself wandering to other areas of the site. However, if you are an Internet Marketer you may feel different. I urge you to go check it out, and can pretty much guarantee you will not walk away without at least one new idea for your Marketing campaigns.
