Conversion Stats - Internet Marketing - Blog ReviewIf you are looking for some additional tools to track your current website or blog’s success, then you may want to stop in at the blog for Conversion Stats. This blog is for the company known as Conversion Stats located in Hayneville, Alabama.  The goal of the company is to provide you with an efficient conversion tracking system that will allow you to succeed in Internet Marketing.  At Conversion Stats, you can use their tools to gain access to first rate analytics and statistical reporting for things that are happening on your website.  Using these tools, you can study the dynamics of the development of your website or blog, and see just how successful your marketing campaigns are.  The blog for Conversion Stats makes it a little more personal, by offering you articles and tips on how to maximize your blog or website success.  Find out for yourself what Conversion Stats has to offer by checking out any of their most recent bloggeries:  Shopping Cart Optimization, The Web Analytics ABC, SEO Campaign Tracking: What to Start With; Promoting Your Website: Off-page Optimization; Web Analytics Methods For Your Business, Website Analysis: Some Like it Hot; and How to Measure your Websites’ Success.

Conversion Stats Internet Marketing BlogThe blog is run by a professional company, and as such it offers the same clean layout that the company website offers.  Bloggeries are in black text on white background with links highlighted in black for headlines, and in red for all other links.  In the top navigation bar you will find links to Home, Overview, Demo, Pricing, About page, Contact page, and a log out page.  Bloggeries are left marginalized and there is a right sided navigation bar.  In the right navigation bar you will find links to the About page, Archives Menu, Categories Menu, and Blogroll.  The blog is very small, only a few months old at this point, so there is not much blog meat to it yet, but it is growing.  The categories you will find in this blog are Pay Per Click and Website Analytics.  Most bloggeries are associated with relevant pictures, and the headlines for each bloggery are in a nice big font, so you really can’t miss them.

I will give this blog a 3.2/5  at this point, though I do suspect it will be a very successful blog and would score higher in the future.  The blog scores well for appearance and navigation, as well as for a unique concept to the world of making money online.  The content is done well and in a user-friendly voice that makes the applications and techniques discussed easily understood by the reader.  The activity could use some more frequency, as bloggeries are quite frequently several days apart, even more than a week in some cases.  For a new blog I would suggest daily activity just to give the search engines a consistent flow of ‘food’ content.  The blog being so new also looks a little sparse in the navigation bar, and I might suggest adding some standard ‘blog meat’ menus to fill up that space.  Things like Recent Posts or Recent Comments would make a great difference here.  Also, I would suggest the addition of more categories, as the bloggeries that are currently displayed on the home page could easily be spread across a number of categories given their keyword friendly headlines.  By adding more categories the blog would again, attract the search engines with those keyword friendly terms. Finally I’d recommend they change their title from their website URL to something more descriptive like “Conversion Stats Internet Marketing Blog“. Overall however, it’s a good blog and professionally laid out.  For a blog stemming from a business concept, this should do very well over time.

Make Money Online – EzMoney – Blog Review

rate4 Make Money Online EzMoney Blog ReviewIf you are looking for some practical advice from another blog about making money, then you really want to stop and check out EzMoney.  The bloggers here are fully aware that they are a fish in a school of make money online blogs, however, they want to create a more practical blog for bloggers that wish to make money.  EzMoneyOn.Net is run by two bloggers and is geared to be a place where you will find different ways to make money online, in simple presentations.  Some of the methods found here have been tried by these bloggers, and some of them are tried as they go along their blogging experiences.  Either way, their process is published on their blog as are their results.  To see how these bloggers are doing with their money making experiences, be sure to check out any of their most recent bloggeries: Easy money on the Net?; Free Banner Ads For You: Project WonderFree, Batch 6; Link O Rama: Get Links From Blog Carnivals; What is RSS?; How Much Money can One Make Online With Smorty; Entrecard: Free Advertising which Drives Free Traffic To Your Blog; and Bidvertiser: I month’s report.

The blog is well organized and thus has a clean template that is easy to navigate.  Bloggeries are in black text on white background with a distinct ‘green’ header which to me, subconsciously makes me think of money.  A great theme for the blog, nonetheless.  Bloggeries are left marginalized and there are two navigation bars.  In the left navigation bar you will find a menu with links to different pages, Categories Menu, and an Archives Menu.  In the far right navigation bar you will find subscription information, Ads, Featured Posts Menu, Recent Posts Menu, and the  Recent Comments Menu.  Most of the bloggeries are textual, but the odd post does contain a relevant picture associated with it.

Overall, I give this blog a 4/5  The blog scores well on all scoring criteria.  For navigation the blog does well as it contains all major essentials of blog materials, and thus making it easy to navigate.  The blog has good user friendly and easy to read content as well, which gives it some solid credibility for a money making blog.  Appearance wise the blog does do okay, though I suggest it add more pictures to the bloggeries.  To me right now it just seems a little too texty, and some pictures would give the posts a little more life.  I also think there is too much white space right now in the navigation bars.  I would suggest either reducing the number of posts on the main page, or moving the navigation bars into one main navigation bar system.  Overall however, the blog has a lot to offer and presents itself well enough to do so.  For those looking for a blog about making money, this one has a wealth of practical tips to do so.

The World Wide Web Blog – Review

Saturday, March 8th, 2008

The World Wide Web Blog Review 4 on 5!Bloggeries is going to look at another blog about Internet marketing and what does and doesn’t work on the Internet. The blog is called The World Wide Web Blog. The WWW Blog is about observing the Internet with fun, but primarily, how to make money on the Internet. Experience the world of making money online through an amateur expert by the name of Chetan Bhawani. Chetan is an amateur expert because he has begun his launch into Internet money making in less than a year. Having started out with some curious interest in May 2006, Chetan has since become an Internet entrepreneur and makes a solid living on the Internet. How? He has a long list of 29 blogs, owns his own SEO company with 5-8 employees, owns between 10 and 12 web directories, and so many more accomplishments. And yes, all in less than a year. But don’t get him wrong, the Internet isn’t his life. Chetan is actually a dental student and focuses most of his time on his education. But find out more of what Chetan has to say about his Internet pursuits through his recent bloggeries: Apple, Google and Microsoft in Fortune’s 20 Most Admired Companies; Google Knol – Still a Big Exception?; Netscape – Dominating Once, Disappearing Now, Changes Made in the Blog & a Question to All, 9 Reasons why Mozilla Firefox is better than Internet Explorer, and Why Wordpress is Better than Blogger.

Wordpress is Better than BloggerThe blog is well organized into several navigation systems and this makes navigation somewhat simple. It is however almost *too* organized as I find the layout a little distracting. Everything is organized into menu boxes and it is hard to see what is content and what is blog advertising. There is a top navigation bar that lists links for Case Studies, Gadgets, Contests, Wordpress, Blogging, and The WWWblog News. In the left navigation bar there is a box for latest blog updates menu, and one for WWW channels or a tag cloud. There is also a middle navigation system that contains boxes for subscription information and for Most Viewed Articles. Moving to the right navigation system you will find a top menu box that is divided into three sections of posts – latest, popular, and sections or categories. You will then see in this navigation bar a Recent Comments menu, favorites menu and stats, and a Top Commenters Menu.

Overall this is an excellent blog and I rate it at 4.1/5 for now which is good considering it is very new. The appearance of the blog is neat and clean and so the blog scores well there. I would like to see some personality in the form of a personalized header to make it stand out; a favicon would be great as well. The content is excellently written even when English is not a native tongue, it is very difficult to tell. Content is also very active with posts sometimes more than once a day, so this blogger is keeping his readers active which is always great. The only issue I had with the blog was as already mentioned. The blog seems to be divided almost entirely into menu boxes and columns which makes it difficult to see where the blog content is actually located. It made a few issues with navigation but mostly I found it distracting from an appearance perspective. I might suggest moving the blog boxes into one or two navigation bars down the sides of the blog with bloggeries running down the center or marginalized. Not finding content can be detrimental to the blog, and though its current layout is neat and clean, it is almost too much so as it is hard to find content potentially for a more novice user. Overall however this is a good blog with a lot of excellently researched content and will serve its readership well.
