It’s very easy to request a review, all you have to do is click the review request button in the sidebar.
The button will take you to a review request form where you will be asked to provide me with some information I will need in order to review your blog.
Fill out the form and click the send button and I will review your blog in the order the request was received.
Not all reviews are a result of a request we do occasionally go through the directory and pick blogs to review.
If your blog meets our requirements it will eventually receive a reveiw, it will be much faster though if you request it.

Well we’ve come up with the grading scale, here’s how it will work:
Each blog will be graded on 5 characteristics.
1. Content
2. Uniqueness
3. Activity
4. Appearance
5. Navigation
Each characteristic would be given 1 of 5 point values.
1. Poor - .20
2. Below Average - .40
3. Average - .60
4. Above Average - .80
5. Excellent - 1.00
SO, a blog that scored Excellent in content, activity, and navigation but only average in appearance and uniqueness, would recieve a total score of 4.20. If you round that, that would equal a grade of 4.

Well I’ve decided I need to come up with some type of criteria to base my reviews on. I don’t have anything definitive worked out yet but I think a system of points where a point will be removed for criteria not met by a blog should work nicely. Now I have to decide exactly what makes a great blog and what makes a terrible blog and then still a few in between. I should expect that I will have this worked out by tomorrow. I must say that I’m very anxious to get on with the reviews and with good reason too since there’s literally millions of blogs on the net so that being the case I really don’t have any time to waste.

Well I was hoping I would be able to start the reviews but time is just not on my side today. We have moved the site to a new and more reliable server and went with a fresh install of the script so I’ve spent most of the day getting the blog back up to date and in sync with the rest on the blogs in the network and I’m far from done but I’m getting close. On the positive side though all the problems I was having have been fixed by the new install, now let’s hope it stay’s that way. I’m still working on the contact form that will be used for requesting reviews and with any luck I should have it on line by tomorrow.
